Honor Certificate Fingerprint Sensor and 5 X Metal: Shell

Honor has officially announced that the new Honor 5 x will be officially presented on 10 October in China.

After the last Honor 7, Huawei G8 and Huawei Mate S, the Chinese manufacturer is ready to submit another smartphone belonging to the brand Honor. Launched a year ago, Honor 4 x would be approaching to leave his post to his successor, already certified in China from TENAA and hence coming up over the next few weeks.

In the absence of much of the hardware specs we can only interpret the image taken by the Chinese. As evidenced by the images, Honor 5 x will adopt the same design as the latest terminals presented by producer with a camera back that protrudes slightly from the shell, dual LED flash positioned at the top left and a fingerprint sensor and metal shell.

According to preliminary assumptions on the data sheet, Honor 5 x could complement a 5.5 display fullHD (1920 x 1080), a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 615 or MediaTek MT6753, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of expandable memory via microSD and a rear 13 Mpxl.

Compared to the previous model we will have an increase in resolution for the display, a more powerful processor, much more internal memory but, above all, better materials and sensor for fingerprints than in a mid-range device like this would be a good addition. Whereas Honor 4 x is currently selling at 199 €, his successor could cost, probably, a few dozen euros.
