With Android operating system, new products manufactured by the company arrive in stores in November, along with new models of tablets and computers.
After manufacture computers, e-readers and tablets, the Positive announced newest project at an event held this Monday (29) in São Paulo. The smartphones and basic phones will be available at SONGAAH.COM during the month of November with prices between R $220 and R $750.
The highlight is the smartphone Ypy S400, which has touch screen of 4 inches, support the two chips and Snapdragon processor with two cores.
The product also offers a 5 megapixel rear camera, front VGA and other lighting and proximity sensors, in addition to accelerometer. With Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich, the penultimate version of the operating system released by Google, the S400 Ypy arrives in stores by R $750.
“We are investing more in product design. The Ypy S400 has only 9.8 mm thick and weighs 138 grams,” said Germano Couy, Vice President of consumer products, Positivo Informática, newly created Division to take care of the segment of mobile phones and tablets.
The company also released two other models of smartphones, the S350 Ypy, which has 3.5 inch screen dual SIM support, in addition to Wi-Fi, and Android 2.3 or Gingerbread. The product supports memory card of up to 32 GB and comes with Positive applications pre-installed. The device will hit stores with price of R $460.
The second model, called S350 Colors, is a smartphone version with three different colored covers in colors black, white and red. It also comes with a 4 GB memory card, double card accompanying the S350. This model will cost R $500.
Most basic models
In addition to launching a few smartphone models, the Positive also wants to make users “feature phones”, the basic cell, but which allow access to the internet and some applications such as social networking. The products do not have 3 g connection, only 2 g (EDGE), which allows you to surf the web with slow speed.
The line, which does not use the mark Ypy as smartphones, includes four models: the P200 and P201 count with 2.3 inch screen, support for three-chip carriers, offers 2 GB memory card, rear camera of 3 megapixels and Wi-Fi connection. The product will cost R $270. Other, simpler versions, with 1.3 megapixel camera and without Wi-Fi, will arrive in stores by R $220.
