An Activist Press to Tim Cook to Improve The Conditions of Their Contract Workers

Apple employees, along with the of other major technology companies of Silicon Valley, boast of having huge advantages of employment. They arrive, even to the limit offering the freezing of eggs from their employees. But what happens with all those outsourced employees If you would like cooks, security guards or cleaning staff? Their conditions are thus by no means, and a Californian activist has turned to Tim Cook so amend it.

This activist Reverend Jesse Jackson (top photo), is known in the United States for having been a candidate in the presidential primaries in the early 1980s. Jessee, pointing to all contract workers, urges Apple to give them better conditions so that it is not difficult to live in California ‘face’ of the technological.

The security guards that Apple outsources have too chaotic times

In the case of security guards, have a good payroll but his schedule is very unstable and there is a rotation of posts too high. IE: you never know when and how they will be working, all have clear is that they will work and much.

So Jesse Jackson has asked to meet with the CEO of Apple, and thus ask you to do honour to high scores on quality and equality at work so take measures. Google, for example, hires directly their own security guards so that they enjoy the same advantages that their engineers have. Perhaps in Cupertino it would be worthwhile to do the same?
